The empire strikes back

If anyone still doubts that Spain is indeed different from the rest of the world, check this out.
Remember Garzon? He was the guy who put Pinochet in a bit of a mess while the dictator was in London enjoying a little break from his day-to-day repression in Chile. Mr. Garzon is a sort of a legend within the annals of International Law. However when he decides to seek into the crimes committed during Spanish Civil War he is not only obstructed to do so, but also sued by the Supreme Court of the Land. Now here is the Catch; Mr. Juan Saveedra, who is also founder of Manos Limpias, an extreme right association who presented the case against Garzon, heads -The Supreme Court.
Now, I am a little bit worried about this. Let me put it in different terms so that people from outside Spain can understand. The higher authority of the law in Spain is the chief of a bunch of Neo Nazis with democratic masks who are preventing an honest Judge from investigating the thousands upon thousands of murders committed during and after the war.
Every freaking nation with a little civilization has closed most of the chapters pertaining to wars and inner conflicts. Spain has not and refuses to do so. The excuse given by Manos Limpias is simply that Mr. Garzon has no competence in such matters. The right parties of Spain complain and bitch every time the victims of the war issues comes up saying that Spain needs not open old wounds. Here is another Catch; - The right wing party in Spain Partido Popular (PP) was founded by the remainder fascist from Francos Government, more specifically by Manuel Fraga who was Minister of censorship and tourism for Franco and is now, thank god, a decrepit piece of rotting meat unable to say one understandable word. May he die in a pile of shit and vomit in front of his peers.
On the other hand there is the Church, Francos´ greatest supporters. Still untouchable when it is widely known that thanks to the church inner information (information received during confession) gave place to thousands of detentions and consecutive tortures and disappearances. Plus hundreds of illegal adoptions of kids kidnapped from resenting parents who did not agree with the government. These murderous bastards are now manifesting against the law of Abortion recently installed claiming that Abortion is worse than abusing kids. They should know that from all the years of raping, touching and traumatizing kids all over the world.
And people still go to church? Are we stupid or Masochists? Do we still listen to this drunken baby fondlers mother fuckers for any advice on Moral? Most of us do, thus the shape of the world today.
My advice is to start thinking properly. Forget the so needed father figure we all seek to take responsibilities for our action. Gather enough strength and from the bottom of our hearts search what is wrong. If by any chance while looking into yourself, you find hate and justifications for all this shit, just kill yourself.

Yes we Pep

The above title is in reference to Pep Guardiola, coach for FCB, a genius who knew how to get the best out of the team. Barcelona has not, and will not anytime soon, halt the celebrations for their triplet year. Triplet for the League, Copa del Rey and Champions league in a row. And no I will not go into the Final Game with Man Unite other than three simple questions.
1: Did Ronaldo Play? I didn’t see him except when creating fouls and a couple of shots in the first three minutes. Where was the Best Player in the world? Did he think he was playing against an ordinary team? Can he do any other thing than shoot hard from afar?
2: What happens to the Heir Prince of Britain, he was there all smiles in the beginning and MIA after the first goal.
3: Does Berlusconi have any shame at all? Did you see him dozing off like a drunken homeless? What the hell is on this guys mind?
I know that football (soccer for the ignorant) is the opium of masses, and I am a little embarrassed to feel so happy for this team. However it is on their benefit that Barça has used a very humble formula to get where they are. For one, check your local teams shirt. It is probably full of publicity everywhere, front, back, and sleeves. Now go to the net and search for Barças shirt. You will only find one (other than a small swoosh from Nike) UNICEF, and the team pays them to wear it and sponsors projects around the world. So there you have one of the ways Barça works better than any other team. It also bets most its eggs on local players, like Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol, Valdes, Messi (yes Messi, he came here with 11 years and has grown up with the team and the city), Piquer, and Busquets. Most of he foreign players are here not only for the money but for status; See Henry, Eto´o, Abidal, Alves and Gudjohanssen. These players can choose any team for any money and they choose to stay.
I live one block away from the Camp Nou and come across the players very often while driving by on my way to work. In many occasions I have lowered my window to say hello to Eto´o, Henry, Valdes and Puyol and I must tell you that they look and act very cool, humble and clean. Yeah yeah I know they make millions, but at least they win, other make millions and loose.
In any case, the celebrations have been going on for 26 hours non-stop and it doesn’t look like it will end anytime soon, it is affecting my judgment.

I fought the law and the Law won

You have never been embarrassed in your life until you are taking a shit sitting comfortably in the throne with a book in hand and in full thrust when your kid, sister, niece, (pick any small human) suddenly opens the door exposing yourself in the most compromised of situations in front of all your birthday guests. Believe you me your friends will never address you by your full name again. Embarrassing situations are common to everyone, only that we never fully tell them unless we use some one else’s name.
This goes for normal people. Others seem to have lost the sense of shame and not only tell the stories again and again but take pride in it. Such is the case with former Spanish president Mr. Aznar, or Asner for the Americans. This little Nazi fucker goes on and on about all he did while in government and how good it was for the nation. He goes around the world, specially the US where is most appreciated for being, other than the mummy Pinochet, the only person on earth that still thinks Milton Friedman was a good man, giving conferences and participating in seminars and master degrees for economic right winged institutions, leading seminars and special groups. He even created a foundation under the name FAES, (fundacion para el analisis y estudios socials) and with it he has the platform to perform his midget tricks of the trade.
This guy, for your information as if you need it, is a ruthless assassin who sold his soul for the Azores picture. He lied about the Madrid terrorists attacks and cannot tell one simple truth if his life depend on it. Got us in a war no one wanted and no one deserved. Turned blind eyes to millions of demonstrators telling him to leave Iraq alone, and still goes on about the Weapons of Mass destruction. Really. His last word on this subject was that in those days everyone believed Iraq had WMD and so he followed the public knowledge and acted in consequence. Can you believe this imbecile?
Why can’t we judge these assholes; - Bush, Berlusconi, Blair, Aznar and many more? Why? Why are they free to roam around in luxury retirement after lying, twisting the truth and murdering thousands of people?
This is what is wrong with the world; we take no action against the people that hurt us. It is my opinion that if we pretend to be so humanists and freedom fighters, as citizens of one nation should take the streets and demand action against these criminals. Take the streets not on a lazy Sunday Afternoon, but for days in a row, halt the nation until justice is made. I am for hanging them Mussolini Style with their balls in their mouth. But that is only me.

Happy trails

(Sorry no time for editing, raw material)
Many of you might think that I am of the opinion that in order to make this a better world we need a war or a wide spread virus to annihilate most of us and only then with less than half of the population here, we would have to re think the whole plan and maybe get along and survive as a species. As much as I would like to get hold of rifle and shoot a couple of mother fuckers, deep inside I know this will only make me happy, but it would hardly help humanity.
The truth behind solving out issues is first of all recognizing the problems we think affect humanity as a whole. We must look into the eye of the things that prevent us from being happy.
Noam Chomsky and David Edwards mention that the most important thing that affects our existence is denial, denial of the things happening around us. Denying that our well-being is due to someone else’s suffering. Converting our pseudo happiness into an involuntary extortion. Being as selfish as to accept and live under this precept is indeed poison for your soul. Denying we have no part in this wrecks our sole goal of wellness and comfort.
I ma sorry but I have to put this into context by allowing myself as an example. Many of you are now laughing because we are all aware that using me as an example is like using a hippopotamus as an anorexic, however I have no other source than my own.
There has been time in my life when things were good. During the early nineties I made a fortune in music. I made in a day what a regular person made in a month. For six years I enjoyed the Vida loca we all dream of. By the end of that same decade another spell of good luck came across and I started working for a company that saw something in me not even my mother had seen before (to be honest nor have I) and enjoyed a good reputation, good money and a comfortable life, these two were the worse periods of my life. These past six years in Barcelona has been the most stable and comfortable I had ever lived and seldom have I found myself more stressed and anxious.
On the other hand, during a trip to a monastery in Switzerland, things went terribly wrong and I ended up being alone, broke and a million miles from home. During my first come to Europe back in the late eighties I found myself in Porto, with 10 US$ and no place to sleep and had to play the bongos on the street for weeks before I managed to get work -Happiest days of my life.
Now, I am not falling for the cheesy moral of incentive and innocence at work during hard times. That is obvious and open to all to enjoy. I am trying to go deeper into matters by exploring the real reasons why, when we are in jeopardy, something inside triggers and brings out the best in you. Some lost forgotten strand of DNA brings back what this terrible world takes away from you. I am sure that if you have gone through hard periods, chances are these also coincide with finding extraordinary people, doing extraordinary things and loving every moment of it. So we come to another problem -routine. Routine breaks our will to exceed. Routine makes us fall into a spiral of comfort and vices that we, later, close our eyes to greater opportunity. Our world depends on routine and the powers that be will inflict any damage to your well being if you dare go against it.
So, I am sorry to say that the only solution for this world would be to give up most of the stuff we have. As Budha said, let go of your possessions and be a free being, let them go to achieve happiness. I am on my way. Slowly but steady.

Abrupt turn

Wooow..life can sure take right turns with no signal. The reasons for no blogging are various. lost my home (gotta move urgently) The owner of my apartment suddenly needed the space for some pampered little annoying son so I got less than two weeks to leave. Then I thought, hey, I could go live in my grandmothers apartment, since no one is usuing it, until I come across something I can afford. WRONG, due to some paranormal ridiculous law, the apartment cannot be lived in until all the testament bullshit (which is in my name) comes through succesfully. This may take two to three months. The only way someone could live in it, is if he or she already lived there before the lady went. So no bananas to that refuge. And then, well, yes the cherry on top.....I lost my Job. Ain´t life funny? I can´t stop laughing.
Soon I will return with more stuff to think about. I gotta go pack.

Net content

Had a great personal loss recently and have not had time nor the will to write lately. One, because of the emotional purge it means to lose a loved one and two, because it seems to be easier to live than to die in Barcelona. The amount of paperwork, red tape, taxes, banks, and lawyers involved in the process is enough to make you forget your grief. But don´t worry this essay will not be about mourning nor death. although, for a small note let me just say that life ain´t shit and it is all over in a second. you keep that in mind next time you worry too much about something.
Talking about worrying, I have been hearing about this swine flu going on and all the paranoia involved. The news said 64 people have died so far and as much as 1000 are infected. And all you hear on the street is people worrying about this hog virus. Mexicos turism has dropped 94% and people are freaking out. I did some research about the dead and all I could find were a couple of old people in Tijuana and two elderly women in Capital city. Now let me tell you that the common cold kills more people than that. Elders are fragile to new trends of flu because they have been inoculated with vaccines for years and their immune system is toasted. I may be mistaken but this all seems a new trick from pharmaceutical companies to get richer and richer if not them someone is.
Also I heard the US authorities did not allow Silvio Rodriguez to visit the country. All this crap about Obama changing things are not as quick as we all thought it would. Personally, I don´t like Silvio, apart from a couple of songs, but I do understand that he represents the voice of millions and that if nothing the guy can write good. Really good.
So the world don´t change much if you stop checking your mails for a while. It’s the same shit. But it will change…very soon.
